Quick to Learn DIY Sailor Knot Tying

Knot tying is not strange for us, it’s very common in our life. There are many kinds of knot tying, for instance, rope knot tying, sailor knot tying etc. today I am going to share an easy knot to tie – sailor knot. Please follow me to see how to make it!

Step 1:

We need a 20cm white nylon cord and a 20cm red nylon cord, and fix one end of both cords, for the convenience to tie. Besides, we put the white cord on the left.

Step 2:

Put the adjustable end of the white cord under its fixed end forming a counter-clockwise loop. Showing as picture below.

                                                                                                  Step 3: Form a clockwise loop with the red cord and the adjustable end of the red cord is under the adjustable end of the white cord.

Step 4: let the adjustable end of red cord under through the white loop, the turn is under white cord, over red cord and then under white cord. Shown picture below.

Step 5: pull both of ends tightly as the picture shows.

Halloween Hair Accessory- Charming Ribbon Flower Hair Comb

Hi, guys, the first day of September, how is it going? There are 2 months left before Halloween, while I’m so happy and have made some Halloween crafts to celebrate it, including ribbon hair comb. In this tutorial, I will tell you how to make this ribbon flower hair comb with spider pendants. Hope you will enjoy it!

Jewelry making supplies in the ribbon flower hair comb:

Round Seed Beads
Iron Hair Comb
Copper Jewelry Wire
Satin Ribbon
Alloy Spider Pendants
Glass Beads Strands
Translucent Acrylic Beads

Step 1, trim off many pieces of square black ribbon, fold one into a triangle, then fold the corners of the long side and stick them plastic gun. Then repeat the steps to make more folded patterns.

Step 2, fold the patterns from the middle side and put them together to make a flower shape, then stick the flower shape to a round felt. Next slide a black jewelry wire from the back side of the flower, then twist the wire and repeat the steps to make another three black flower.

Step 3: slide a black pearl bead on a jewelry wire and twist the wire, then slide a flower shaped bead and a seed bead on the jewelry wire, don’t forget to twist the bottom side of the seed bead, and go on the steps to make another four beaded flowers. Next slide four spider pendants on fur jewelry wires separately, and twist the wires.

At last, wrap the four flowers and the decorations to the hair comb.

Simple Project - Tassle Style Necklace

Happy Wednesday! Simple project sharing time is coming!!  With DIYs, the most important part, which must be that the project should be easy, fun and instantly wearable. Today I will make a tassel style necklace with Suede Cord.  Just same as the first glance, this project appears to be quite simple.  Okay, here we go!

Materials you will need: 3mm suede cord, 2 ribbon ends, 2 jump rings and 1 lobster clasp

Steps you need to follow:
Step 1: Prepare fringes and make triple braiding
Tips: a. 14 fringes should be in different lengths, the triple braiding
b. braid the three 50cm wide cords about 16cm long
Step 2: Insert the 14 fringes to finish the braiding
Tips: a. the fringes insert order: short - long - short.
b: after insert all the fringes, braid 16cm length again, then cut off the cords
Step3: Attach jump rings to both ends and then add lobster clasp to one end. Okay, the tassle style necklace is created. Prepared your own jewelry making supplies, have a nice crafting! :）

Make Wire Wrapped Hair Accessories with Wood Beads

It’s ridiculously easy to make this wire wrapped hair accessory. The concept is simple, just wrap the wires, thread the wood beads. Here, detailed steps will be listed below. Feel free to DIY it and wear it out proudly.

Jewelry making supplies required:
2mm Aluminum wire
0.3mm copper wire
6mm wood beads
Wire cutting pliers

Round nose pliers

1st, 

Cut down 2mm aluminum wire of length about 15cm, wrap circles on both ends, like the pic showed. 

Start wrapping 10 circles of the 0.3mm copper wire close to aluminum circle made before. Thread a wood bead then wrap 10 circles. 

Repeat this procedure until use up 14 wood beads. 

2nd, 

Cut down 10cm aluminum wire and bend a loop on one end with round nose pliers. 

Make one wood bead go through 0.3mm copper wire of the length 8cm. 

At last, fix the wood bead by wrapping circles.

3rd, 

The pretty wire wrapped hair accessory is finished. Now you can wear it out proudly and tell your friends that it’s all handmade by you!
