People say that natural pearls formed under some set of accidental conditions in which microscopic parasite enters a bivalve mollusk and settles inside the shell of the mollusk. The mollusk, been disturbed by the microscopic parasite, forms a pearl. The mollusk goes through some repeated secretion process thereby producing a pearl, theses pearls which are taken and holes been drilled in them are then used in making Pearl beads. Natural pearls always come in different shapes, with rare perfectly round ones. While cultured pearls are the response of the shell to a tissue implant and are not actually near 100% calcium and conciliation.
